Lingshi Tan, PhD

Executive Chairman of the Board

Lingshi Tan serves as Executive Chairman of the Board of Caidya and provides strategic oversight and guidance in collaboration with the CEO. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and founded the organization that became Caidya.

Dr. Tan founded dMed Clinical in 2016 and led its evolution into Caidya following a series of acquisitions and global expansion across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Prior to founding dMed, he spent nearly 20 years at Pfizer in global management roles, including Vice President of Worldwide Development Operations and Founding General Manager of Pfizer China Research & Development Co., Ltd.

Dr. Tan earned his PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Pittsburgh. He served on the Drug Information Association Global Board of Directors from 2016 to 2022, including as Chair.

Barbara Lopez Kunz, MSc

Chief Executive Officer

Barbara Lopez Kunz is Chief Executive Officer of Caidya and a global healthcare and life sciences executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning clinical research, diagnostics, medical devices, biopharma, and public health. She has served on Caidya’s Board of Directors since 2022 and has played a key role in shaping the company’s governance, strategy, and growth.

Prior to joining Caidya, Barbara served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Drug Information Association (DIA), where she led a significant digital and organizational transformation. Previously, she held senior executive leadership roles at Battelle, Thermo Fisher Scientific, DuPont, and ICI (now AstraZeneca), leading global businesses, driving growth, advancing innovation, and building high-performing organizations across international markets.

Barbara serves on the boards of Werfen and Aptevo Therapeutics and is Vice Chair of the Board of Children’s National Hospital. She holds a Master of Science in Polymer Science from The University of Akron, completed the International Executive Programme at INSEAD, is a DIA Fellow, and is a Certified Director through the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).

David M. Glaccum serves as an Investor Director of Caidya and is a Partner and founding team member of Rubicon Founders, a healthcare investment firm based in Nashville, Tennessee. He brings experience across healthcare investing, corporate governance, law, and public policy.

Prior to joining Rubicon Founders, David spent more than a decade in senior federal and state government leadership roles. Most recently, he served as a Senior Executive at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), where he led the domestic investment program of the United States’ $60 billion international development bank. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the United Nations, the Office of the Governor of South Carolina, and the U.S. Senate.

David is a seasoned attorney and currently serves on the boards of multiple healthcare and pharmaceutical services organizations. His experience spans investment strategy, governance, public policy, and organizational growth.

David earned a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Management from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Augustine Yee serves as an Investor Director of Caidya and brings over 25 years of multinational leadership across biopharma, MedTech, and high-tech. He is a Venture Partner at Qiming Venture Partners.

Previously, Augustine was one of four C-level group executives at HOYA Corporation, a MedTech and high-tech multinational with 38,000 employees across 50 countries, where he oversaw governance and transformation across 12 corporate functions and 14 divisions. He also held senior leadership roles at AstraZeneca in the U.S. and Asia Pacific, including Head of Asia Pacific Business and Corporate Development, leading cross-border M&A and commercialization strategies. Earlier in his career, he held executive business development and general counsel roles in U.S. biotechnology companies.

Augustine began his career in molecular biology, a federal judicial clerkship, and top-tier U.S. law practice in corporate law and intellectual property. His board and advisory experience spans the U.S. and Asia, including venture capital, private equity, and national innovation agencies.

Managing Partner at Vivo Capital, Investor Director

Michael Chang serves as an Investor Director of Caidya and is a Managing Partner at Vivo Capital. He co-leads the firm’s private equity investment strategy and post-investment management and value creation function.

Michael has played a key role in several private healthcare investments at Vivo, including Surgical Specialties Corporation, ReadCoor, PowerVision, BioDlink, Fortis Therapeutics, Dutscher Group, and Esco Life Sciences. Prior to joining Vivo, he worked in strategy and commercial planning at Johnson & Johnson and as a strategy consultant at Booz & Company and Fletcher Spaght.

Michael currently serves on the boards of Dutscher Group, Visen Pharmaceuticals, Ronovo Surgical, and Evaheart. He holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jay Roberts serves as an Independent Director of Caidya and brings global leadership experience across biopharmaceuticals, healthcare technology, venture investing, and corporate development. His expertise includes capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, financial strategy, and organizational transformation.

Jay has held senior executive roles in publicly traded, venture-backed, and private equity-backed organizations. Prior to joining Caidya’s Board of Directors, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Vyant Bio, where he led the company’s strategic transformation through mergers, acquisitions, and equity financing. He also held senior leadership roles at Cancer Genetics, AdvantEdge Healthcare Solutions, InfoLogix, and Daou Systems.

Jay serves on the boards of several healthcare technology and life sciences companies, including Caidya Research, Ventac Venture Studio, Cingulate, VeriSkin, Navipoint Health, and Vyant Bio and is the Treasurer and member of the Board of Trustees for US Pharmacopeia. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Maine.

Miron Lila is Chief Corporate Development Officer at Caidya. In this role, he is responsible for supporting key financing and strategic initiatives, identifying partnership opportunities to accelerate the company’s global growth, coordinating investor communication efforts, and working with the senior management team to build a robust investor relations strategy. Additionally, he oversees Caidya’s global Accounting/Reporting and Treasury functions.

With over seventeen years of healthcare-focused corporate finance, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions experience, Miron brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Prior to joining Caidya, he served as a senior healthcare investment banker and team head at Citi, where he played a key role in establishing Citi’s healthcare franchise in Asia. During his tenure, Miron developed a broad spectrum of senior-level client and industry relationships in the biopharma & healthcare sector, with a unique geographic scope covering Greater China, Korea, and Southeast Asia. He successfully completed over 30 transactions across all investment banking products, amounting to a total deal value of US$15 billion.

Miron holds a BSc. in Government and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is also a member of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Committee, which acts as both an independent administrative decision-maker and an advisory body for the Exchange, where he was appointed in July 2022.
