Vice President, Global Marketing

As Vice President, Global Marketing Heather Varela is responsible for defining, implementing, and measuring strategic, global corporate marketing initiatives that build awareness and consideration for the company brand, strengthening the company’s position within key market segments.

Heather has over 20 years of experience in development of business-to-business marketing strategies, with most of those years in healthcare and life sciences related companies. Previously, Heather led sales enablement and marketing strategy for digital health, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, therapeutic expertise, technology integration and partnerships, and real-world evidence at a leading CRO. Prior to this, she headed up corporate marketing for a health data and analytics company and spent time at multi-national healthcare companies. Heather has spent her career in healthcare marketing to audience segments from patients to providers, IDNs to health plans, and the life sciences industry.

Heather attained her MBA from Western International University, US and has a BA in English and Women’s Studies from Muhlenberg College, US.
